Service Desk Technician- Junior Tier 1
n-tieractive incorporated is currently looking to fill a Service Desk position to support the DoD DHSS production environment. We are looking for motivated, IT driven individuals that are knowledgeable as well as interested in learning on the job,to become part of our ISO certified environment.
A thriving Service Desk Technician at n-tieractive:
- Is flexible with working in a 24/7 rotating shift environment.
- Is detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal communication, and customer service skills.
- Possesses the ability to work in a fast paced environment, while following standard operating procedures.
- Is able to write in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
- Thrives in a collaborative, team environment, but is just as comfortable working independently.
Position requirements include:
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN, HAVE A SECURITY CLEARANCEOR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE.
- A High School Diploma is required, and a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Must be prepared to obtain (if not already acquired) a Network + Certification within six months of hire.
- Must be prepared to obtain ITILv3 Foundations certification within six months of hire.

- Experience with Windows administration and BMC Remedy.
- Must be prepared to obtain (if not already acquired) a Security + certification within six months of hire.

Senior Network Engineer

- A Bachelor’s degree and7-10 years experience within IT related field.
- 5 years of Windows Administration or relevant technical experience.
- Extensive experience with network routing and switching.
- Extensive experience working with SANs (storage area network)
- Enterprise Storage experience.
- Experience with Virtualization.
- Knowledge of Network Security Fundamentals.
- CCNP Preferred
- Must be prepared to obtain ITILv3 Foundations certification within six months of hire.
- Must be prepared to obtain (if not already acquired) advanced certifications such as CCIE, CISSP or equivalent, during term of employment.
- Must be prepared to show proof of certifications.
